Church Vitality

The Great Lakes Conference is deeply committed to the heath and vitality of our churches. Our vision is to have 100 healthy missional churches by the year 2020. We desire to be a missional church family that is biblical, connectional and devotional. Healthy missional congregations are on a journey of life, passion, hope, repentance and forgiveness. A vital church is a place where God continues to breathe his resurrection life into his people. The work of the Spirit is continually new and life-giving. To a valley full of dead and decaying bones God spoke: 'I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.' Ezekiel 37:6
